As a “Jill-of-all-trades” I’ve build and led in-house agency production departments, managed all aspects of production and post, prepared countless triple bids and director searches, dealt with budgets at all sizes, worked with union and non-union talent, and even rolled up my own sleeves to get the job done.
Currently, as the Executive Producer at Dailey/9thWonder, I spearhead the innovation, production and creative development for broadcast, digital and experiential projects across 5 global offices. As an empathetic leader, I balance a focus on team culture, inclusivity, honesty with the output of high volume of compelling work.
Prior and adjacent to my advertising career, I work with local and national nonprofits and I am committed to civil rights and advocacy for diverse communities. As the granddaughter of Japanese American Incarcerees during World War II and a Hiroshima bomb survivor, I strongly believe visual storytelling can be a tool for social change by transforming communities through dialogue, creativity and engagement.
Currently I serve as the youngest elected Vice President of General Operations for the Japanese American Citizens League, one of the largest and oldest Asian Pacific American civil rights organization.
Storytelling has always been my passion and I’ve been lucky enough to make it my profession.
